


| Susan Medley completed her nurse practitioner's training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center specializing in women's health. Nurse practitioners are registered nurses who have completed advanced education and clinical training. Her responsibilities include performing patient interviews, physical exams, diagnostic tests, procedures and treatments. "My experience as a candy striper was a wonderful introduction to the medical field," she said. "nursing seemed right then and I still look forward to meeting new patients each day." Prior to joining Saddleback Memorial Medical Center's staff in 1995, Ms. Medley worked in hospital and community nursing for 20 years and attended Palomar College Nursing Program and California State University, Long Beach. Ms. Medley enjoys speaking on health issues at local schools and mentoring nursing students. A San Clemente resident, she is married and has four children. |
