James Patrick DeCock, M.D.
Dr. DeCock grew up in the Midwest, where he completed his bachelor of arts
in chemistry at Northwestern University and medical school in his home-state of
Kansas at the University of Kansas.
A residency and internship in family medicine at Long Beach Memorial
Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency program brought him to California,
where he discovered the beauty of the state and its people.
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. DeCock believes in establishing
relationships with his patients throughout the course of their lives, not just when
they have a particular medical need. He also believes that it is important for
patients to have a clear understanding of the medical condition they are facing.
Dr. DeCock spends his free time enjoying California - hiking, camping and
traveling. He also enjoys reading and music.
