Lisa was born and raised in Orange County, Ca. Inspired through
participating in local and international volunteerism, she knew from an early age
she wanted to devote her life to helping people. As a teen, she assisted in
setting up free clinics in Tijuana and spent two months helping the underserved
in Oaxaca, Mexico. She also had the opportunity to provide free medical care in
Belize during her graduate studies.
Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Lisa received her B.S. in Biology
with a concentration in physiology & anatomy from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
She worked as a medical assistant, emergency medical technician, pharmacy
aide and lab tech/phlebotomist throughout the course of her undergraduate
studies. During this time, she gained experience in multiple fields including
cardiology, internal medicine, gastroenterology, and dermatology.
She completed her M.S. In Physician Assistant Studies from Arizona School
of Health Sciences in 2004 and soon after began clinical practice in dermatology
and at Saddleback Family & Urgent Care centers.
"It has always been my dream to work in medicine. I strongly believe the
patient should be a partner in their care and like to focus on disease prevention.
Each individual is unique and should receive only the best in personalized
attention at our center. Nothing is more fulfilling than helping those who entrust
us with their health and well being."
Lisa enjoys treating all ages and conditions found in family and urgent care.
She has a special focus in dermatology and women's health care.
She was married in 2007 and loves spending her free time with her husband,
daughter born in 2009 and son born in 2011. She also enjoys cooking, outdoor
activities and travel.
